Moss'd in Space
Moss'd in Space by Rebecca ThorneThis was a delightful little space opera! Moss is a sentient life support system integrated with an ancient alien ship that has been sitting derelict in a scrap yard until Torian purchases it. And there the adventure begins. Moss is snarky, Torian is stubbornly optimistic, and they're both desperate for something beyond the existence they've been living.
This outer space adventure explores family, friendship, humanity and how sometimes our dreams don't pan out exactly how we imagined. I liked the imagination behind the different alien species, and am definitely hoping that we get more insight into them in future books.
This is a book for anyone who loves a talking plant or a witty ship computer, a light-hearted outer space adventure, or the idea of carving out your own little space in the universe.
(Oh, and don't read the sneak peak chapter for book 2 at the end unless you're ok with a little cliffhanger. ;] )
